The Hazelton Hotel, a luxury boutique hotel in Toronto, announced that its newest amenity – the art concierge that would be available to guests and the general public. Located in the city’s prestigious Yorkville neighborhood, home to nearly 40 art dealers and galleries – the hotel boast an extensive on-site contemporary art collection. The hotel has named Ms. Sam Mogelonsky as the art concierge for the Hazelton hotel sammogelonsky.tumblr.com . The “Live Chat” which can be access through the hotel’s website (thehazeltonhotel.com) from about 9 to 5 on weekdays feature provides users access to information on the Toronto art scenes, galleries in Yorkville, Queen and Dundas and highlight the Hazelton’s own collection, which features work by artist such as Bruno Billio, Greg Payce and Cynthia Chapman.

“With increased recognition of Toronto as one of North America’s leading fine art centers, it was critical to provide community leadership with the creation of the art concierge,” said David Mounteer, general manager of The Hazelton. “With a significant in-house collection, we needed to have the necessary expertise to answer guests’ questions regarding our collection, as well as galleries and museums in our community.” The Hazelton Hotel features 77 rooms and suites, designed by Yabu Pushelberg, a 25-seat private screening room; an extensive art collection from works of top Canadian artists, and the rockstar restaurateur Executive Chef Mark McEwan’s of the hotel’s ONE restaurant.
