One of the best fundraising event of last year, ArtBound’s 3rd Annual pARTy is back with FOOTLOOSE on Thursday September 27, 2012 that will get you dancing hip shaking, toes tappin, shoulder poppin conjuring your Kevin Bacon circa 1984 my birth year. 100% of the proceeds will be used to integrate art programs in schools developed by Free The Children. Artbound started by fundraising and building a centre for the arts at Kisaruni School for Girls in Kenya. Continuing on to support that project, efforts are also directed towards building a sustainable village in Rajasthan, India in 2013.
Attire:Think classic small town country where anything and everything is cut off. Girls – channel Ariel and match your cute floral dresses or daisy dukes with cowboy booties. Fitted plaid shirts work too. Guys – take a cue from Ren and either go city-boy-in-Bomont (preppy with an edge), or put on that Midwestern charm and kick back in boots and a Stetson. Maison (15 Mercer St. Toronto, ON) will once again set the scene for over 1,000 philanthro-partiers in support of Artbound and Free the Children. Don’t miss the pARTy! Dance Dance Dance!
