British fashion house Burberry’s “The Britain” watch celebrates 158 years of the London-based brand, and marks the company’s first venture into the luxury watch market utilizing an automatic movement. The watches are inspired by the iconic Burberry trench as well as British design, with the rounded octagonal shape of the face taken from the D-ring closure on the famous coats. The color palette also follows the brand’s classic design-scheme. Burberry Fall/Winter 2012 Advertising Campaign

Burberry has released looks at their Fall/Winter 2012 advertising campaign and I have to say it’s quite different from the work we’ve seen from the British label in the past. This campaign celebrates Britishness, London and the Burberry heritage of weather protection in the most cinematic shoot to date, featuring a new cast of rising British talent – Roo Panes and Gabriella Wilde. Shot by photographer Mario Testino at the iconic Royal Naval College in Greenwich, London, where the new Les Miserables is currently being filmed.
