The Wythe Hotel overlooks the Williamsburg waterfront in Brooklyn, New York after a $32. This historic hotel has 72 hotel rooms outfitted with locally-made furniture, custom wallpaper from Flavor Paper, 13-feet high exposed ceilings with fantastic views of the skyline, and exposed brick. Rooms without views of Manhattan look out onto artwork commission by the hotel, painted on the neighboring building. Restaurant on-site Reynards by restaurateur Andrew Tarlow of Marlow & Sons and Diner fame. “It’s a grown-up version of what’s happening in Brooklyn,” says Tarlow of the Wythe. the restaurant will focus on seasonal cuisine and “whole-animal, wood-fired cooking.” There are two large dining areas and outdoor seating, which connects to an outdoor terrace outside a private events room
With the impending opening this month of luxury hotel Shangri-La Toronto, this week we find out more about another great news that the hotel will have its own signature restaurant called Bosk, reports the National Post. Bosk, which literally means a small wooded area will feature decor of natural oak. The 80-seat restaurant to be led by Executive chef Jean Paul Lourdes, include a private dining room and an outdoor terrace perfect for summer weather. Finally, a five star luxury hotel coming to Niagara Falls – a 60- and 61-storey, the tallest two buildings in Niagara Falls and the tallest hotel in Canada is still in its preliminary plans. The property will have 966 rooms, a rooftop pool, falls-view observation platform, restaurant and a spa. The estimated cost of building the hotel range from $340 to $500 million. The hotel is still in the design phase and there’s no word yet on when construction will begin, though ground-breaking will be at least a year away. It will be at least a year before construction begins on a proposed half-billion-dollar luxury resort on River Rd. This is will surely be another tourist lure and job booms for the city which is great news. Stay tuned!
