The six menswear designers making their Gap debut are Todd Snyder, Saturdays SurfS NYC, Mark McNairy, BLK DMN by J.Lindeberg, Ovadia & Sons, and Ian Velardi gives each designer showcasing their individuality and the opportunity to share his creative vision with an enormous audience.
J.Lindeberg present Spring/Summer 2013 collection that is said to be inspired by nature. Designer Jessy Heuvelink describes “I’m inspired by the geometrical shapes created by nature. ” A mix of casual and tailoring, it’s the smart suits that really impress, most notable the sharp double-breasted jacket above. If our man hadn’t been cut off at the waist you’d see this teamed with an excellent pair of selvedge pleated denim featuring the increasingly popular unfinished hem. A jean that shouldn’t work but does so convincingly.
