MR PORTER is introducing an iPad app to help guys discover everything about eveningwear options that you can think of and everything to know about the tuxedo. “The Tux” app will walk you through every step, includes tips on how to choose a tux, tie a bow tie, and pick the right accessories. If you like what you see, all the items shown can be purchased.
With the holiday season fast approaching, were in the likelihood is, at some point going to need some evening gear to impress the missus for that swanky black tie event or holiday party at the office with an alternative from the usual penguin old-fashioned tux. Swedish design collective Acne has launched an exclusive eveningwear collaboration with Mr Porter that feature thirteen limited edition pieces, including a classic cashmere overcoat, silk jacquard trousers, patent loafers and, my personal favourite, a claret double-breasted velvet jacket. “The collection was designed as a complete evening wardrobe, but one that works as separate pieces. Upscale menswear retailer Mr Porter teamed up with USA Network to promote the second season of the hit dram “Suits” to release the new iOS application “Suit Yourself”. The new app is designed as a mobile shopping companion to Mr.Porter.com, offering zoomable,high-resolution images of products better than what you’s typically find in a retailer’s mobile app. And it also contain some editorial content imported from the site, including an A-Z “Stylepedia” and cool videos.
